Yes — most are designed to work with factory sports bars and sailplane systems (brackets may be additional).

Electric versions operate via remote control, key fob, or mobile app etc for convenience, while manual versions are operated using a pull strap.

The load rating is 120 kg dynamic and 300 kg static, provided the load is evenly distributed across the roller cover and the appropriate mounting brackets are used.

Installation & Product Use

Will installation of roller covers affect my tailgate operation?

We always recommend applying a paint protection film to any vehicle with bare painted tailgate surfaces, as this helps prevent scratches or scuff marks over time. For vehicles with a push-button or electronic tailgate latch, the roller shutter is set during installation to sit correctly on the tailgate—tight enough to provide a full weather seal but not overly compressed. This allows the tailgate to operate normally once the roller cover is slightly lifted.

Most of our products come with DIY fitting instructions and can be installed yourself. However, we recommend contacting our team first to confirm any specific requirements or additional details.
